HER2-CONNECT™

Saves time and eliminates meticulous outlining of tumor regions

Visiopharm’s HER2-CONNECT module assists the pathologist in the scoring of HER2 IHC stained breast cancer specimens by providing continuous readouts of membrane connectivity which are readily translated into classical diagnostic scores. The algorithm can be applied to digital images acquired by microscope cameras or from any type of whole slide scanner.

HER2-CONNECT has been validated for different HER2 assays, including HercepTest from Dako, and Pathway HER2/neu from Ventana.

Clinical validation was performed in collaboration with NordiQC, an independent scientific organization promoting the quality of IHC. The validation study showed a 92.3% concordance with Pathologists manual scoring, and a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 99.2%.

The HER2-CONNECT is a Research-Use-Only (RUO) algorithm.
