Computer Assisted Design-Based Lung Stereology with newCASTTM

In continuation of the scientific webinar by Prof. Matthias Ochs titled The Basic Principles of Design-based Lung Stereology this webinar will illustrate how to obtain morphological endpoints relevant to lung research such as:

Alveolar septal tissue volume
Alveolar surface area density
Alveolar number
Air-blood barrier thickness
Alveolar size using Point Sampled Intercept

The newCASTTM and AutoDisectorTM software by Visiopharm is used to illustrate the stereological estimation process of the endpoints.
