Stereology courseStereology course - Methods for quantitative measurements. Date: April 7th -8th -9th 2008. Aim and Content: The course will give participants an understanding of basic principles of stereology, make participants able to plan and conduct a research project and analyze data critically. Teaching and exercises will include estimation of number, length, surface and volume using microscopy and other imaging techniques. No strong background in mathematics or statistics is assumed. Most techniques will be illustrated with the aid of real case studies. Participants: Ph.D.-students, junior doctors, dentists, and other professionals who plan to do quantitative research projects.
