Collaboration between 3i and Visiopharm

Visiopharm A/S and Intelligent Imaging Innovations Inc. (3i) are pleased to announce collaboration in the US market. 3i will distribute and support our flagship software products, newCAST and VIS.

Automated histomorphometric analysis of joint damage

In collaboration with Aventis Pharma Deutschland GmbH (now Sanofi-Aventis), Visiopharm has developed image analysis software capable of performing a fully automated segmentation of Hematoxilin/Eosin (H E) stained histological knee sections, thus allowing for measuring various morphometric variables, including cellularity and lesion area. The scientific results were presented at the OARSI 2004 in Chicago, Illinois.
