Visiopharm provides advanced software for quantitative microscopy for life sciences. Our software products include tools for image analysis, stereology, image acquisition, data management, virtual slide management, work flow integration and automation and reporting all on one platform.

Our software solutions are designed to operate on a wide variety of microscopes and virtual slide microscopes and are fully compatible with all the leading hardware brands.

Visiopharm is a privately owned company. The headquarters is located in Medicon Valley, Denmark, one of the strongest bio-regions in Europe. Visiopharm has a division in US with an office in New York City.

Visiopharm was founded in 2001 by the managing director Michael Grunkin and the chief technical officer, Johan Doré Hansen, who both have a strong scientific and practical background in image analysis.

Our company has grown into an international business. Customers in more than 20 countries apply Visiopharm software to cutting-edge research. Our distributor network is active on several continents including North America, Europe and Asia.

Efficient development of robust and reliable software tools for image analysis and stereology that make a real difference in practical applications requires a firm understanding of these disciplines. For its development activities Visiopharm is only employing Masters- and PhD level developers with several years of theoretical and practical background in image analysis and/or stereology.
